Lei San Agustin

Instructional Designer

Lei brings a warm, learner-focused approach to vocational resource development, shaped by her background in teaching, curriculum development, and instructional design. As one of the Instructional Designers at TotalVET Training Resources, she contributes to learning resources and assessment tools that turn broad subject matter into clear, structured content for vocational training.
Before moving into VET resource development, Lei worked across preschool, daycare, and tutorial settings, creating lesson plans, developing curricula, and adapting activities to meet different learner needs. She also supported students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, giving her valuable experience in making learning more accessible, thoughtful, and responsive.
Her work includes developing learning resources and assessment tools for various units of competency, reviewing resource quality against RTO standards and training package requirements, and creating simulated documents such as case study scenarios, organisational policies and procedures, and role play guides. These contributions help support resources that are practical, organised, and easier to use during training delivery.
Lei’s teaching background continues to shape the way she approaches training content. She focuses on making information easier to follow, helping create resources that support trainers during delivery while giving learners a clearer path through the material.
