(latest NCVER data)Inclusive recreation creates opportunities for people with disability to participate meaningfully by identifying barriers and making appropriate adjustments to activities, communication and access. It supports learners who help facilitate participation in sport, recreation and community activity settings.
Learners consult with participants, identify individual needs and barriers, adapt participation arrangements within their role, communicate respectfully and review whether the approach is supporting effective inclusion.

The SISXPLD005 training materials support delivery preparation around inclusive participation, adapting activities and reducing barriers for people with disability. RTOs can purchase RTO materials to support contextualisation, trainer preparation and internal review before implementation.
